Corte Bella's amenities are included in the $407/quarter HOA for all owners (and their spouse) — no extra fee, no rec card system. You get full year-round access to all the facilities below as part of your automatic social membership in the country club. Golf privileges are the one carve-out (separate membership; see Let's Golf!).
The Social Hall is Corte Bella's main community gathering space — 9,000 sq ft of meeting rooms, a ballroom-style event space, a card room, and a billiards area. Designed in the same Santa Barbara / Mediterranean style as the surrounding homes: stucco exterior, tile roof, archways, courtyards, and dark wood interiors.
Common uses:
Available to residents and guests; private events require advance reservation through the activities coordinator.
The 11,000 sq ft fitness center is a fully equipped gym with cardio machines, free weights, strength equipment, group exercise studios, and locker rooms with showers. The building also houses the Miller Massage spa (see next card).
Equipment includes:
A full-time fitness instructor is on staff to lead classes and offer personal training. Group classes are included; one-on-one training is an additional fee.
Miller Massage is the on-site spa, operating inside the fitness center building. It's an independent provider (not run by the HOA) and books appointments through their own scheduling system. Open to residents and the public.
Services typically include:
Front desk: (602) 832-0864
Corte Bella's outdoor pool complex includes a resort-style main pool for casual swimming and lounging, a separate lap pool for fitness swimming, and an outdoor spa. Heated year-round; covered ramadas with table seating for poolside dining and gatherings.
Aqua aerobics classes are held in the resort pool throughout the week. Both pools are open to residents and their accompanied guests.
Pool rules: standard country club expectations — no swimwear in the clubhouse, no glass at poolside, children must be accompanied by a resident adult.
Outdoor court facilities for the three most popular Sun City West racquet sports:
All three sports have active resident-run clubs. Equipment is available to borrow from the clubhouse for first-timers. Mixed-doubles social tournaments across all three are some of the best ways for new residents to meet neighbors.
The Mission Drive entrance is the only public access point and is staffed by a guard 24 hours a day. Residents pass through with a transponder; guests are logged at the gate after the resident clears them. This is the only Del Webb West Valley community with a manned gate — Sun City West and The Grand do not have entry gates.
For deliveries, contractors, and service providers, residents can pre-authorize through the cortebella.net portal so the guard has a list and lets them through without calling. Architectural Review-approved contractors get standing access during business hours.
Two important boundary clarifications:
If you're comparing Corte Bella to Sun City West or The Grand, this distinction matters: Corte Bella is more like a country club with built-in homes, while SCW and The Grand are larger communities with rec-center networks.
